This building utilizes a raised floor system as a way to create a plenum space
used for HVAC distribution to each floor.
The location of the plenum is based on two major design intentions:
1. By utilizing a raised floor system, the structure above is able to be
fully expressed and creates a tactile quality in the spacces.
2. By having supply air vents lower to the athletes it improves the
conditions of its occupants by allowing for a greater level of fresh air
intake
